FACES OF GOD IN THE MAGIC MIRROR

Faces of God

As I was meditating one day, the face of God appeared in my magic mirror.
Suddenly God spoke to me, "I would like to dispel some misconceptions about my appearance," God said. "Some artist a few centuries ago represented me as an old man with gray hair and a long beard and then everyone started to believe that I look like this. This is one face of God, but there are many others. Actually, every face that you see is a face of God."

Faces of God in the Magic Mirror

God continued, "You might not believe it, but every creepy crawly insect has a face of God. I am particularly fond of butterflies and dragonflies."

Amphibious and Reptilian Faces of God

God continued, "Given humanity's fear of other creatures, you might not believe me when I say that all reptiles and amphibians have a face of God too."

More Winged Faces of God

I am especially fond of the faces of birds. Some of them are quite stunning, I think," God stated.

Animal Faces of God

God continued, "Of course, faces of animals are also some of my favorites because many of them are quite expressive and impressive. You are an animal, you know. Humans, I think, have the most expressive faces. That's why I like humans so much. Some even claim that humans are made in God's image, which I think is in a way accurate, but of course all creatures are facets of One Universal Consciousness."

Faces of Splendor in the Magic Mirror

God continued, "You know, I am also quite happy with the faces of flowers on your planet. Sometimes, they even take my breath away."

Angelic Faces of God

"Sometimes I like to group them so that they resemble angels," God explained.

                                                                          Fiery Faces of God

"Sometimes I like to group them so that they resemble an army of the fiery angels of God."

Faces of God Blooming Around a Dead Lupine Bush

God continued, "Sometimes I like to group them around dead bushes or trees to remind people that life in its stunning splendor goes on after something passes away. Everything is a facet of God, you know, and consciousness continues after death. I especially like baby blue eyes because they resemble eyes of the sky on the ground. Personally, I would have named them 'eyes of heaven,' but 'baby blue eyes' will do."

Lupine, Poppies, Birds Eye Gilia after the Rough Fire

Sometimes after a terrible fire I think it's fun to group flowers in such a way that they resemble armies battling each other for territory. Such arrays of flowers are so peaceful and beautiful that they remind people of the divinity and unity underlying all of creation, which some might find a little ironic, I suppose, given that the species might seem to be in conflict," God proclaimed.

Towering Body of God

God continued, "I love trees too, you know, because some of them tower into heaven. Some trees make people feel like tiny insects in comparison, but, you know, some people need to be humbled in the face of my creation."

Rainbow Goddess of God

Of course some people create rainbow Goddesses in their imagination to show the beauty and divinity within nature, the Many in the One, so to speak, to express the divinity and unity of Universal Consciousness. I am fond of creative people who do that sort of thing."

Throne of Gold

Of course some people just can't see the faces of God. They sit on golden thrones and dream of gaining more wealth and power. Unfortunately, they would rather rule the world than see the faces of God."

Can't See the Face of God

Some people would rather have the kind of power that enables them to separate families for no good reason. They would rather see very sad faces of God, which I find quite blasphemous."

Unable to See the Face of God

I have noticed that nowadays some people like to shoot other people because that makes them feel powerful. They cannot see the face of God. Too bad that they feel so small and powerless that they end up shooting the face of God."
